The Design and Installation of Outdoor Led Display Board

The main problems faced with outdoor led display board:

(1) The led board is installed outside, so that it is usually exposed to the sun and rain, and wind and dust, and the working environment is very bad. When the electronic billboard is soaked or seriously damp, short circuit or even fire will happen, thus causing failure and even fire disaster, which will lead property loss.



(2) The led sign may be hit by the strong electricity and strong magnetism caused by thunder.

(3) The temperature change of the environment is huge. When the led panel is working, it will produce a certain amount of heat, and when the environment temperature is too high and the heat dissipation is not good, the integrated circuit may not working normally or even be burnt down, which may cause the display system not to work normally.

(4) The audience of the led display screen is very large, so that the visible distance is required to be far, and the visible angle is required to be wide. Besides, the light change of the environment is also huge; especially that it may be directly shined by the sun.

Regarding the above special requirement, the design and installation of the outdoor led display board must conform to the following requirements:

(1) The display board and joint part of the display board and the construction must be strictly water proof. Besides, the display screen should have excellent drainage measure, so that the water can be drained away.

(2) Lightning arrester should be installed on the display panel as well as the building. In addition, the main part and case of the electronic advertising signs should maintain well grounded, and the ground resistance should be lower than 3O, so that the large current caused by thunder can be timely released.

(3) Ventilation device should be installed for cooling, so that the internal temperature of the display screen is maintained between -10℃ and 40℃. And axial flow fan should be installed on the upper part of the back of the display board for heat dissipation.

(4) Industrial-grade integrated circuit chip whose working temperature is between -40℃ and 80℃ should be used, so that the display panel can still be started even in winter when the temperature is very low.

(5) To make sure that the displayed content can be clearly seen from long distance when the environment light is very strong, ultra-high light led should be chosen.
