It means that the driving method of the digital sign is different, which may influence the setting of the receiving cards.
For the receiving cards are to used in a 1/4 scanning led screen, if they are used in static led display screen, the display of the led advertising display board will have 4 lines of black intervals. Generally speaking, the receiving cards can be manually set, and when the customer successfully connects the main parts such as sending card, LED display sign and computer, he can enter the relevant software on the computer to set the receiving cards. 1. Scanning Modes of Led Display Outdoor Advertising:
(1) Dynamic scanning: Dynamic scanning refers to that “pixel to line” control is carried out from the output of the driving IC to the pixels, and it needs control circuit and its cost is much lower than that of static scanning, but its displaying effect is not very good and the light loss is also huge.
(2) Static scanning: Static scanning refers to that “pixel to pixel” control is carried out from the output of the driving IC to the pixels. When static scanning is used, control circuit will be not necessary, and its cost is much higher than that of dynamic scanning, but its displaying effect is excellent, and it has such advantages as high stability and low light loss.
2. Working Principle of Led Advertising Board with 1/4 Scanning:
Every line of power V1-V4 starts for 1/4 time according to the control requirement inside the one frame picture. It can more effectively make use of the display feature of the led advertising signs and reducing the cost of hardware.
3. Classifications of Led Advertising Signs based on Scanning Mode:
(1) Indoor full color led display: P4 and P5 use constant current 1/16 scanning and P6 and P7.62 use constant current 1/8 scanning.
(2) Outdoor full color led display: P10 uses constant current 1/2 scanning, P16 and P20 use static scanning.
